In Her Element
MEET THE WOMEN BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Having met across the years at drama schools and the Edinburgh Fringe, the In Her Element team formed out of a collective ambition: to make a change. As women in the theatre industry, we were fed up of working in environments where we felt like we had to fight to be heard. With next to no opportunities available to us when starting out, a situation made especially dire by the COVID 19 pandemic, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
Now based in London, our theatre company aim to foster new talent. Whether it's published plays, devised pieces or new writing, we create work that feels relevant to where we are today, and opportunities to those regardless of age, ethnicity or gender. Our working environments value every voice in the room, because when you feel empowered in doing what you love, you'll be in your element.
